I would like to know how to change header and footer background color and text color. May I know where can I edit it?

So, it is currently not possible to change header background in Theme Options > Styling, however you can change footer background there.

To change the other things you wish to edit, you need to apply custom css in Customize > Additional CSS. I can give you a quick example, for the header background:

#header { background: red; }
