In Theme Option > Frontpage, there should be two additional fields, one for the button’s text, one for the link. You should be able to link the button anywhere you want.

Hi, thanks! Create a new page and set page template to Frontpage (on the right side). Write your text in the big text window. Then go to Theme Options > Frontpage and upload your image there.
